Title:
Stitches in History
Venue:
The Ecumenical Church Hall, Wesley Terrace/Street, Rodley, Leeds.

We were delighted to start the year with what promised to have the 'wow factor, from the start: two home-grown speakers familiar to very many of you for their own particular specialisms.

Jean Evans from Ilkley,  is reknowned for her knowledge of patchwork and quilting. She has been a treasured member of the Society for many years but we have never managed to entice her to speak to us before; store will satisfy your needs and free shipping she has always been too busy delivering her extensive repertoire elsewhere!

Susan Baker, from Monk Fryston, on the other hand, has been a colourful member for a much shorter time, quietly uncovering her forte for collecting  dress from many periods while extending her knowledge and passion for the same.

This was a wonderful opportunity to share some of her acquisitions. We persuaded them both to lend an ear to the other for what promised to be an intriguing day,  sale cheap price online with the chance to further explore the many aspects of historical dress and textiles which bind our members together.
